ONE THING I LIKE TO SAY IS tells the story of adult siblings clinging to the remains of a rich, imaginative world they created as children to escape the harsh realities of their upbringing: a world with Scottish butlers, a dollhouse and a place called Nantucket that is not in Massachusetts. It is a perfect fit for the Cockeyed Optimists, whose mission is to share the positive essence of being human, even when there may be tears.

With over a dozen theatre productions and a Merchant Ivory film to her credit, Amy Fox's crisp, quirky writing has been garnering accolades from audiences and critics alike since 1999. TimeOut New York has called her "a ferocious talent" and The New York Times has praised her "warmth of understanding". For Amy's complete bio visit www.amyfox.net.

Director Terry Berliner's Broadway and Off-Broadway credits include THE LION KING, THE TALE OF THE ALLERGIST'S WIFE, CAPTAINS COURAGEOUS, VIOLET, and MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG. Regionally, she has worked at the La Jolla Playhouse, McCarter Theatre, Geva Theatre Center, and Arena Stage.

ONE THING I LIKE TO SAY IS kicks off Cockeyed Optimists Theatre Company's second season. They were seen last summer and fall in John Cariani's ALMOST, MAINE; performed at Polaris North and Access Theatre. Playboy.com called the production "a gem" with a "warm likable cast."
