Group.BR will present INSIDE THE WILD HEART, based on the writings of CLARICE LISPECTOR. The production will begin a limited Off-Broadway run at Immersive Gallery (132 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, NY) tonight, November 3rd, and will run through November 20th. INSIDE THE WILD HEART, which will be performed in both English & Portuguese, is directed by REGINA MIRANDA, with music direction by Sergio Krakowski (Composer) and live music by Mario Forte (Composer).

CLARICE LISPECTOR (1920-1977) is Brazil's most acclaimed female writer. She was described by researchers such as Iba Mendes & Benjamin Moser as the most important Jewish writer since Franz Kafka, with her trademark stream-of-consciousness writing style often being compared to that of Virginia Woolf & James Joyce. In fact, Clarice's Complete Stories was recognized among the best books of 2015, by the New York Times & the Boston Globe. The underlying thread across Lispector's work is the questioning of oneself & humanity. Her work is universal, transcending ethnicity, race, religion, time, gender & place. Many people say & we agree, that you don't just read Clarice, you experience it.

Group.BR's mission is to present Brazilian culture through the performing arts to New York. As the only Brazilian theatre company in the city, Group.BR is the voice of the yet unknown Brazilian dramaturgy in the city.
