Clara & Violet Young to Appear in Retter Entertainment's 13: THE MUSICAL

Clara Young, 13 will play the part of Kendra and Violet Young, 11, will play the part of Charlotte in 13: The Musical.
Clara Young is a young actor, singer and dancer based in New York City. She will play the role of Kendra in 13: The Musical.
She is also the voice of Alice in the Oscar Nominated Animated Film, "My Life As A Zucchini", which also features the voices of Will Forte, Nick Offerman, Ellen Page and Amy Sedaris.
She origintated the roles of Young Ellen and Young Lucy in the World Premiere of UNKNOWN SOLDIER at the Williamstown Theatre Festival with Estelle Parsons playing her grandmother. She played Cindy-Lou Who in the national tour of HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS when she was just eight years old. Clara played the title role in ANNIE at Florida's Maltz Jupiter Theatre. She's has appeared on many stages, including Stage Door Manor's ONCE UPON A MATTRESS as Princess Winnifred; for which she won Best Lead in a Musical. On television, she was a featured soloist in THE NEXT BIG THING on Oxygen. Other screen credits include: Janine Molinari's webisode TAP OUT OF IT and co-star on SECOND CHANCE, a finalist in the 48 Hour Film Festival. NYC cabarets/theatre include The Trevor Project at Le Poisson Rouge, Rockers on Broadway, The Triad and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown and Seussical. She has done numerous national commercials, print and voiceover work.

Violet Young, 11, is young actor, singer and dancer based in New York City. She will play the role of Charlotte in 13: The Musical.
Violet was recently featured as a cancer survivor in the awarding winning film Tri with Tim Reid. She co-starred in The Haunting of Brett Cullen on Lifetime, and was on SNL with Andy Samberg. She plays a tap dancer on Janine Molinari's web series, Tap Out of It! Her recent appearance on Stephen Colbert is available for viewing here. Violet has trained for television and film with Krisha Bullock and Matt Newton (Blue Bloods).
?Her theatre credits include Sour Kangaroo in Seussical, Debbie in Billy Elliot at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, the leading role of Annemarie in Off-Broadway's Number The Stars at the Davenport Theatre in New York City. She also played Tessie in Annie with KOTA (Kids of the Arts) and appeared as a soloist in KOTA's NYC Broadway Review.
Last year, Violet appeared at the acclaimed Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY singing Girl on Fire.
