Page Seventy-Three Productions (Page 73) presents the world premiere of ULTIMATE BEAUTY BIBLE, a new play by Page 73's 2016 Tow Foundation Playwright-in-Residence Caroline V. McGraw.

Directed by Stephen Brackett (Buyer & Cellar, Be More Chill), ULTIMATE BEAUTY BIBLE began previews on October 25, 2016 at The New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street) with an opening date set for tonight, November 3, 2016 for a limited run through Saturday, November 19, 2016. Tickets are on sale now at www.page73.org.

ULTIMATE BEAUTY BIBLE will feature Eboni Booth (Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again.), Alex Breaux (Red Speedo), Molly Griggs (Steubenville), Nadine Malouf (The Who and the What), Sathya Sridharan (This Is How It Ends), and Ariel Woodiwiss (The Convent of Pleasure).

Danielle, Lee, and Tiffany have scaled the masthead of Crimp magazine, gaining access to the best the city has to offer-nightlife, men, and the beautiful baubles showcased in every issue. But when workaholic Danielle is forced to face her mortality, she begins to wonder what it's all worth. In this dark comedy, questions of romance, sex, ambition, and loyalty spin Danielle and her friends out of control as they consider the possibility of life without each other.

ULTIMATE BEAUTY BIBLE will feature scenic design by Daniel Zimmerman (Kill Floor), costume design by Sarah Laux (An Act of God), lighting design by Masha Tsimring (The Place We Built), sound design by M.L. Dogg (Aubergine), and props by Justin Cox (Young Charles Dickens). Megan Schwarz Dickert will serve as Production Stage Manager with Alberto Ruiz serving as Production Manager.

Tickets for ULTIMATE BEAUTY BIBILE are on sale now. Tickets range from $15 to $40 and can be purchased in advance at www.page73.org or by calling 866-811-4111. From October 25 through October 30, $15 tickets will be available for each performance. From November 1 through November 6, $20 tickets will be available for each performance. For all other performances, general admission tickets are $30; with $40 reserved seats available for all performances. The box office for ULTIMATE BEAUTY BIBILE opens one hour prior to every performance.

The performance schedule is as follows: Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30pm, Sunday at 5pm. Exceptions: There will be no performance on Tuesday, November 8; there will be 2pm matinees on Saturday, November 12 and Saturday, November 19.

PAGE 73's 2015-16 season included the world premieres of Leah Nanako Winkler's KENTUCKY, directed by Morgan Gould and co-produced with Ensemble Studio Theater; and Max Posner's JUDY, directed by two-time Obie Award winner Ken Rus Schmoll. Prior seasons included Clare Barron's critically acclaimed YOU GOT OLDER, which was recognized at the 2015 Obies with awards for Playwright, Performance (Brooke Bloom), and Direction (Anne Kauffman) - each artist was also nominated for a Drama Desk Award, along with co-star and Tony Award winner Reed Birney; the first New York City production of George Brant's critically acclaimed GROUNDED, directed by Ken Rus Schmoll and starring Drama Desk nominee Hannah Cabell; and Cori Thomas' WHEN JANUARY FEELS LIKE SUMMER, directed by Daniella Topol, co-produced with Ensemble Studio Theatre. Founded in 1997, PAGE 73 is the premiere home for the development and production of new work by early-career playwrights who have yet to receive a professional New York production, offering a crucial steppingstone at a critical, early point in their careers. Each year, PAGE 73 produces New York City or world premieres by early-career playwrights and offers a slate of new play development programs: the P73 Playwriting Fellowship, Interstate 73 writers group, and a week-long Summer Residency.

Today, Page 73 annually serves twelve to fifteen early career playwrights through its productions and development programs. Close to two-thirds of the nearly 100 playwrights they've supported have enjoyed New York or regional theatre productions after receiving a Page 73 premiere or development support. These include, among others, writers whose professional debuts in New York City were produced by Page 73, such as Samuel D. Hunter (2015 MacArthur "Genius" Grant), Quiara Alegría Hudes (2012 Pulitzer Prize), Dan LeFranc (2010 New York Times Outstanding Playwright Award), Heidi Schreck (2014 Tow Playwright in Residence at Playwrights Horizons), and Clare Barron (2015 Obie Award).

Caroline V. McGraw(Playwright)'s plays have been seen all around the country, at companies such as Lesser America, New Georges, Washington Ensemble Theatre, Theater Ninjas, the Yale Cabaret, AracaWorks, Naked Angels, Washington National Opera/The Kennedy Center, Second Stage, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Studio 42, IAMA Theater Company, and Ars Nova ANT Fest, among others. She has been in residence at Portland Center Stage's JAW Festival, Wordbridge Playwrights' Lab, and SPACE on Ryder Farm. Four of her full-length plays have been nominated to the Kilroys List. She is an alum of the New Georges Jam and The Civilians R&D Group, and a member of the Primary Stages Dorothy Strelsin New American Writers Group and I73. Caroline was the 2013 Page 73 Playwriting Fellow, and is the 2016 Page 73 Tow Foundation Playwright-in-Residence. She is working on a commission from Yale Rep. She is a graduate of the Playwriting program at the Yale School of Drama, where she studied under Paula Vogel.
