Entertainment Events announced today that Cuff Me: The Fifty Shades of Grey Musical Parody will make its Off-Broadway premiere beginning March 27th at the Actors Temple Theater (339 West 47th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Opening night is set for Sunday May 5th.

Cuff Me: A Fifty Shades of Grey Musical Parody is written by Bradford McMurran, Jeremiah Albers, and Sean Michael Devereux of the improv group The Pushers. It was conceived by Tim Flaherty, who is also a contributing author along with Sonya Carter who is directing. The cast features Matthew Brian Bagley, Laurie Gardner, Alex Gonzalez and Tina Jensen.

Cuff Me! A Fifty Shades of Grey Musical Parody is the unauthorized hilarious parody of the Fifty Shades of Grey book phenomenon! Grab your girlfriends and get ready to laugh at this sexy, and hysterical romp! Cuff Me! The Fifty Shades of Grey Musical Parody will have you dancing in the aisles as the cast of four belts out hilarious parodies of hit songs from your favorite artists, all while spoofing the Fifty Shades of Grey book!

The Pushers are Virginia's preeminent sketch and improv comedy group. For more than seven years they have thrilled (and shocked) audiences with their wild antics both on and off stage. The group puts on a racy, high-octane, energetic show that is guaranteed to have audiences howling with laughter. The Pushers debuted in the spring of 2005 with a massive roster of 15 members. Today The Pushers includes original members Ed Carden, Sean Devereux and Brad McMurran along with Tiffany Chilcott (2006) and Alba Woolard (2009). The group has performed throughout Virginia, most notably at both The Virginia Beach and Richmond Funnybone Comedy Clubs and the NorVa, named one of Rolling Stone Magazine's top 5 venues in the country. They have appeared at The North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival and five times at the Charleston Comedy Festival. In New York, the group has performed at the People's Improv Theater, the Magnet Theater and the Upright Citizen's Brigade, as well as a run of shows at the Kraine Theater.

Producer/Creator/Co-Writer Tim Flaherty is the President and CEO of Entertainment Events, Inc. based in New York City. He has conceived the last three shows in the Late Nite Catechism series, and Conceived/Creator/Co-Writer of WPMS: The Musical. EEI productions have been produced and presented in all 50 states as well as in Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia. Since 1999 EEI has produced; Late Nite Catechism: The Series; Maybe Baby, It's You; The Yiddish Are Coming, The Yiddish Are Coming!; Shout! The Mod Musical; Tony N' Tina's Wedding; Defending the Caveman; We're Still Hot! The Musical; and are former producers of Jeanie Linders' Menopause The Musical. EEI is currently presenting Girls Night: The Musical; Late Nite Catechism; Sister Strikes Again!: Late Nite Catechism 2 - 'Til Death Do Us Part; Late Nite Catechism 3, Sister's Christmas Catechism - The Mystery of the Magi's Gold; Sister's Easter Catechism: Will My Bunny Go To Heaven?; Late Nite Catechism Las Vegas: Sister Roll's The Dice; Sister's Summer School Catechism: God Never Takes A Vacation!; The Santa Class; and WPMS: The Musical.

Director/Co-Writer Sonya Carter has been with EEI for almost six years in various roles both on and off Stage. She originally performed the role of Liza in the US premier of Girls Night: The Musical in Scottsdale, AZ in May of 2007. After her debut in Girls Night: The Musical EEI brought Sonya Carter and her 12 years of International Risk Management experience from American Express on board as its production supervisor. Now as Chief Operating Officer, Sonya maintains and oversees all aspects of the day-to-day business operations for Entertainment Events, as well as being integral to the creative side of the company. Sonya continues to perform in Girls Night: The Musical, with well over 400 performances on tour and Off-Broadway, and directs its touring companies. Sonya also is the co-creator and director of WPMS: The Musical, which had its world premiere at the DuPont Theater in Wilmington, DE and its Off-Broadway premiere, where she originated the role of Janice.
