Circumcise Me, Yisrael Campbell's hilarious hit show at The Bleecker Street Theater (45 Bleecker Street), will ring in its 100th performance with a special celebration: The Mohel, The Merrier. Yisrael Campbell would like to invite Mohels to attend that evening's performance as his guest and they can sign up at www.CircumciseMeThePlay.com

After the performance, there will be a cake "cutting" and photo opportunity with dozens of Mohels and "their weapons of mass-destruction."

"Oy vey! Who would have thought five months ago when we began that we would be celebrating our 100th performance," said Yisrael Campbell. "It is truly exciting and a true blessing that audiences and critics alike have embraced our play and we are now ‘the little show that could.'

The current schedule for Circumcise Me is: Wednesday at 3pm and 8pm, Thursday at 8pm, Saturday at 8pm, and Sunday at 4pm and 7pm.

Beginning March 20th, the performance schedule is as follows: Wednesday at 3pm and 8pm, Thursday at 8pm, Saturday at 9pm, and Sunday at 4pm and 7pm.

Yisrael Campbell and Circumcise Me were also honored earlier this month by Ben's Deli as they unveiled "The Circumcise Me BRIS-ket sandwich." The sandwich is sliced brisket and cole-slaw on rye bread with a pickle (with the ends cut off, of course) and chopped liver on the side. The sandwich will be available at Ben's for the length of the show's run.

The New York Times cheers Circumcise Me: "Plenty of Laughs! Mr. Campbell's genial and polished recounting is a tale well told" and The New York Post applauds, "Mazel tov! Pitch-perfect blend of genuine sentiment and hilarious one-liners. Deeply moving." The New Yorker calls Circumcise Me "very funny" and Stephen Colbert lauded, "Yisrael Campbell is the funniest Roman Catholic Orthodox Jewish comedian in the world. Hurry and see him before he becomes a Buddhist!" Emmy Award winning comedian Judy Gold also loved the show, exclaiming "Lemme give you a tip - This show definitely makes the cut!!!"

Circumcise Me tells the true story of Yisrael Campbell, your average Irish, Italian, Catholic kid from Philly, who became a sober alcoholic, recovering drug addict, husband, father, reform, conservative, unorthodox, orthodox, Jewish comic actor. In his New York theatrical debut, Yisrael (born Christopher) takes the audience on an extraordinary spiritual, creative, and hysterically funny journey including, ouch, three circumcisions along the way.

Circumcise Me is the rare collision of comedy and theatre that will have women howling with laughter and men squirming in their seats. The film "Circumcise Me," a documentary on Yisrael's life, is currently playing in film festivals around the country.

The fun also continues with the talkback series "FINAL CUT" taking place after select performances of the show. Guests sit down with Yisrael Campbell to tell a story that has changed their life...their "AH HA!" moment. Past guests have included Judy Gold, Father Dave Dwyer, Sandra Bernhard, Sarah Jones, and Tovah Feldshuh.

Tickets for Circumcise Me range from $25.00 - $65.00 with premium seating available. Tickets can be purchased by visiting Telecharge at www.telecharge.com or calling (212) 239-6200. For more information, please visit: www.yisraelcampbell.com
