THE CHRIS BETZ SHOW is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with ERIN GO BETZ, an all-new holiday themed "episode," for three nights only: Thursday, March 12 through Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the Sage Theatre (711 7th Avenue between 47th and 48th Streets). Reveling in all things Irish, Chris O'Betz and co-host Lauren O'Hunter will lead a cast of 6 in their signature combination of hilarious interviews and flashy song & dance numbers.
Joining O'Betz and O'Hunter in their search for the pot o' gold are Rosie O'Colosi, Kerry O'Flanagan, Rachael O'Nelson, Amy O'Picar, Zoey O'Rutherford and Brad O'Siebking.
Inspired by the likes of Sally Jesse Raphael and Ricki Lake, THE CHRIS BETZ SHOW combines all the hijinks and hilarity of daytime television with a little Broadway razzle-dazzle for a fun and unique evening of comedy. First performed in NYC in 2006, THE CHRIS BETZ SHOW picks a different topical theme for each engagement. Cast members portray different guests who enter the action to discuss how their personal stories relate to the episode's theme. Past "episodes" have included "Let's Just Say I'm Addicted," "I Gots a Secret" and "Merry ChrisBetz." In honor of St. Paddy's Day, EPISODE 6: ERIN GO BETZ will be brimming with drunken debauchery and Sinead O'Connor look-a-likes.
Directed by Lauren Hunter, performances are Thursday, March 12 through Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 8 p.m. at the Sage Theatre (711 7th Avenue between 47th and 48th Streets). Tickets are $20.00 and are available at TheaterMania.com or by calling 212.352.3101 or 866.811.4111 (toll free).
