Chick Flick the Musical (chickflickthemusical.com), a new musical comedy with book, music and lyrics by Suzy Conn (Suffra-Jets; The Mercer Girls), will now begin performances at The Westside Theatre (407 W. 43rd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues) on Saturday, February 23 at 7:30pm due to additional time needed for the complicated technical aspects of the show. Opening night remains on March 7.
Chick Flick the Musical has music direction by Matt Castle (Found: A New Musical; Once Upon A Mattress), choreography by Sarah O'Gleby (Mythic - London; Associate Choreographer - Disney's Frozen; Kennedy Center Honors), and directed by David Ruttura (Associate Director - Network, School of Rock). Broadway Venture Capital Fundproduces with executive producers Richard Frankel and Joe Watson.
The cast of Chick Flick the Musical includes: Sharon Catherine Brown (Dreamgirls; Joseph...), Lindsay Nicole Chambers (Lysistrata Jones; Legally Blonde), Carla Duren(Hairspray; 110 In The Shade), and Megan Sikora (Holiday Inn, Clueless) with Jillian Louis (It Shoulda Been You; Soul Doctor) and Madison Stratton (Brigadoon; Baby) as Standbys.
