The production of WHITE'S LIES, originally scheduled to begin off-Broadway previews March 22nd, will be postponed until April 12th, with an official opening night of May 6th. The production has been delayed due to scheduling conflicts of one of the performers.

WHITE'S LIES stars Betty Buckley as Mrs. White. The new is comedy scripted by Ben Andron and directed by Bob Cline.

The Tony Award-winning actress will star alongside Scott Patterson, Peter Scolari, Christy Carlson Romano, Rena Strober & Jimmy Ray Bennett. WHITE'S LIES will mark Ms. Buckley's first appearance on the New York stage in seven years.

Betty Buckley made her Broadway debut in 1969 in 1776 & has been called the "Voice of Broadway" ever since, her rendition of "Memory" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, solidifying that reputation. She followed with other Broadway roles in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Song & Dance, Sunset Boulevard (NY & London) & Triumph of Love, for which she received a Tony nomination. She is well known to TV audiences for her role in "Eight is Enough" & to film goers as Carrie's gym teacher in Carrie & in the role of a country singer in Tender Mercies with Robert Duvall. She also appeared in Woody Allen's Another Woman & Roman Polanski's Frantic. Buckley has also guest-starred on "Without A Trace," "Law & Order: SVU," "Monk" & on the Christmas special of "Remember Wenn" singing "You Make it Christmas," as well as spending three seasons on HBO's "Oz." In 2008, she appeared in M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening opposite Mark Wahlberg & Zooey Deschanel. She recently completed a role in the HBO series "The Pacific," produced by Steven Spielberg & Tom Hanks, which will air this year.

Some guys are scared stiff at the prospect of settling down, getting married, having kids & Joe White is no exception. He's a divorce lawyer, representing one of his many ex-girlfriends & above all else, he's a bachelor who wouldn't have it any other way. So when his mother desperately wants him to start a family, he'll do the next best thing: make one up! What could go wrong? Only love, in the outrageous new comedy White's Lies.
