Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys and Understudies with its next editions of At This Performance...TM to be held on Sunday, October 31st and Monday, November 1st at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, 2162 Broadway, (above the Promenade Theatre- Broadway at 76th Street), 3rd Floor at 8 PM.
Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular
series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences.
Performers scheduled for Sunday, October 31st will be Heather Lindell (Understudy for the roles of Anne, Jacqueline, Mme. Dindon and Mme. Rinaud in La Cage aux Folles), Barrett Martin (Understudy for the role of Lurch in The Addams Family), Bill Nolte (Understudy for the role of Edouard Dindon in La Cage aux Folles), Courtney Reed (Understudy for the roles of Nina and Vanessa in In the Heights), Erin Stewart (Understudy for the roles of Anne Egerman, Countess Charlotte Malcolm and Petra in A Little Night Music) and Charles West (Standby for the roles of El Gallo, Bellomy and Hucklebee in The Fantasticks). Musical Director/ Accompanist for the evening will be Jon Balcourt.
Performers scheduled for Monday, November 1st will be E. Clayton Cornelius (Understudy for the roles of Clarence, Ozzie/Ruby, Charlie/Victoria, Willy, Roy, Eugene, Olen, Andy, Mr. Bones and the Lady in The Scottsboro Boys), Elasea Douglas (Understudy for the role of Sandra in Fela!), Erik Hayden (Understudy for the roles of Elvis Presley and Carl Perkins in Million Dollar Quartet), Emma Hunton (Standby for the role of Natalie in Next to Normal). Marty Lawson (Understudy for the roles of Chuck Baxter, Eichelberger and Kirkeby in Promises. Promises), Sydney Morton (Swing for all Female ensemble roles in Memphis) and Christina Sanjous (Understudy for the role of Whatsername in American Idiot). Musical Director/Accompanist for the evening will be Jason Webb.
At This Performance...ä debuted in October 2003 and to date has showcased the talents of 502 talented actors and actresses.
