The full cast of the new musical Himself and Nora, with book, music, and lyrics by Jonathan Brielle, was announced today.

Joining previously announced Matt Bogart (Jersey Boys) as James Joyce and Whitney Bashor (The Bridges of Madison County) as Nora are Michael McCormick (Chaplin), Zachary Prince (Honeymoon In Vegas), Lianne Marie Dobbs (A Tree Grows In Brooklyn), and Victoria Huston-Elem (The Addams Family Nat'l Tour).

Himself and Norabegins performances at the Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane, between Sixth Avenue and MacDougal Street) beginning on May 14th.

Directed by Michael Bush, produced by Cherie King and executive produced by R. Erin Craig, Himself and Nora will officially open on June 6th.

"I am so knocked out by the depth of talent assembled for the cast of Himself and Nora,"said author/composer Jonathan Brielle. "We have been blessed with amazing actors, stellar singers, and one of my favorite musical directors."

The Minetta Lane Theatre Box office is now open and $10 of each ticket purchased in-person, by phone and online for any performance will be donated to the St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters when the tickets are purchased by April 10th. This has been extended in order for the production to give back to the less fortunate in an even greater way.

Producer Cherie King said, "Himself and Nora is thrilled to partner with St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters where money from each ticket sold will go to support this amazing and worthwhile charity. James Joyce lived in penury most of his life and benefited from the support of others. This is Mister Joyce's turn to give back."

"It is an honor for St Francis Food Pantries and Shelters to have the support of theHimself and Nora production team, " said Joseph Sano, Managing Director of the organization. "James Joyce is regarded as one of the most influential and important authors of the twentieth century. He lived in poverty most of his life and benefited from the support of others. Our mission at St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters is to alleviate the physical and emotional hunger of the poor and needy in a dignified manner. This partnership will bring us one step closer."

It was one of the world's great romances. She was the country girl from Galway whose burning sexuality and acerbic wit inspired the genius of James Joyce. Himself and Nora is a passionate musical that reveals the private life of one of modern literature's most controversial figures and illustrates the untold story of Joyce's lifelong love and muse Nora.

Developmental productions of Himself and Nora were produced by the Old Globe Theatre; Hamilton Stage and the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF). Additional developmental work was done with the James Joyce Center in Dublin, Ireland.

Himself and Norahas musical direction by James Sampliner, choreography by Kelli Barclay, set design by Paul Tate dePoo III, costume design by Amy Clark, lighting design by Jason Lyons, and sound design by Keith Caggiano.
