Following a highly successful workshop production in 2007, Barefoot Theatre Company will present the World Premiere of DOG DAY AFTERNOON, a new play based on actual events that inspired the academy award winning film directed by Sidney Lumet and screenplay by Frank Pierson. Written & directed by Francisco Solorzano, this AEA Approved Showcase Production will be presented this summer for a limited engagement from July 16-August 16, 2008.
Featuring company members: Jeremy Brena, Charles Casano, John Gazzale, Lydia Gladstone, John Harlacher,
Betty Hudson, Kendra Leigh Landon, Ruben Luque, Victoria Malvagno, Amanda Plant, Lorriane Rodriguez, Gil Ro*, Francisco Solorzano, Anika Solveig,
Joli Tribuzio, and Steven R. Weinblatt. Stage manager is Joanna Leigh Jacobsen. The original reading and workshop production was at the 78th Street Theatre Lab; Eric Nightengale, Aritistic Director; Ruth Nightengale, Managing Director.
Sound Designer is Tasha Guevara, Costume Designer is Victoria Malvagno, Set Designer is Adam Rodriguez with Lighting Design by Board of Directors member, Eric Nightengale.
