BERENSTAIN BEARS LIVE! Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

One year ago, the Berenstain Bears arrived Off-Broadway with their critically-acclaimed family musical The Berenstain Bears LIVE! Having entertained over 10,000 boys, girls, parents, and grandparents, June 25th marks the musical's official one year anniversary of performing every Saturday and Sunday in NYC.

To celebrate their success, The Berenstain Bears want to throw a BEAR-y Birthday Party for one lucky cub and up to 10 of his or her friends and family (valued at over $600)! The contest will be open through the 4th of July, and a winner will be picked at random the very next day. The BEAR-y Birthday package includes V.I.B. tickets (Very Important Bear), with seating on the Grassy Knoll at the foot of the Bear Country stage and playful Bear Ears to wear during the show. Plus, the Birthday cub will be invited on stage as the cast and audience sing A BEAR-y Happy Birthday song.

Producer Matt Murphy says he is not surprised by the success of the show. "When you take a lasting brand like The Berenstain Bears and combine it with music, choreography and colorful sets and costumes taken right out of the books, you've got the classic makings of a big old hit show!"

Adapted from the children's book series by Stan and Jan Berenstain, The Berenstain Bears LIVE! brings everyone's favorite bear family to life in a thrilling theatrical experience that kids as well as their parents will treasure for many years to come. The show gives boys and girls of all ages the chance to fall in love with these characters, just as their parents did when they were growing up. The Berenstain Bears LIVE! features an original score by Michael Borton and a book by Borton and Michael Slade. The Berenstain Bears LIVE! is produced by Matt Murphy Productions.
