The Brooklyn Academy Of Music's BAMcinématek will present a four-day-long, 13-film tribute to Academy Award winning actress Susan Sarandon in February.
The event will be presented from Feb. 10 through 13 at the BAM Rose Cinemas, and according to a recent article from the New York Times, will include films like "Dead Man Walking," "Pretty Baby," "Light Sleeper," "Bull Durham," "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" and "Thelma and Louise."Sarandon is expected to appear at a question-and-answer session at some point during the festival, as are Paul Schrader (the writer and director of "Light Sleeper") and John Turturro (who directed "Romance & Cigarettes").
The actress last appeared on Broadway in the 2009 production of Ionesco's EXIT THE KING. She also appeared in the Broadway production of AN EVENING WITH RICHARD NIXON AND in 1972.For the New York Times article, click here.
