Atlantic Theater Company announces a one-week extension of the world premiere production of Eddie and Dave, written by and featuring Amy Staats (Miles for Mary, Atlantic's Tow Playwright-in-Residence) and directed by Margot Bordelon (Plot Points in Our Sexual Development). The production, which opened on Tuesday, January 22nd, will now play through Sunday, February 17th, 2019 Off-Broadway at Atlantic Theater Company's Stage 2 (330 West 16th Street).
Eddie and Dave also features Vanessa Aspillaga (Amy and the Orphans), Megan Hill (Do You Feel Anger), Omer Abbas Salem (Off-Broadway debut), and Adina Verson (Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties).
Eddie and Dave is a gender-bending new play about hubris, friendship, family, fame, musical genius and what happens when the person you need is the one you find most irritating.
Eddie and Dave features scenic design by Reid Thompson, costume design by Montana Levi Blanco, lighting design by Jiyoun Chang, sound design by Palmer Hefferan, projections by Shawn Boyle, original compositions by Michael Thurber, hair and wigs by Cookie Jordan, fight direction by Mike Rossmy, and casting by Caparelliotis Casting: Lauren Port, CSA.
