Wednesday, October 1st 8pm Michael R. Jackson: Dirty Laundry
Michael R. Jackson can't get it together. He lives in squalor, he's never worked a full-time job, and he owes a bunch of people money. He's got an axe to grind, a joke or two to tell and some underwear that needs serious washing. Drawing on influences including Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos and Liz Phair, Jackson offers songs about white boys, black boys, orgies, incest, and more. Dirty Laundry is a heavy load: an exciting, new, brutally intimate, darkly humorous spinning song cycle. For photo, please visit http://sunshinewashere.com/mj/sm03.jpg
