37 Arts has announced a new show added to their fall lineup, Ballerina Who Loves B-boy.

Created and directed by Mr.  Choi Hee-ill, Ballerina Who Loves B-boy will land in NYC after a sold out  tour of Korea and an acclaimed run at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Presented by Mr. Oh Tae-sik, Ballerina Who Loves B-boy will begin performances on, Wednesday, October 1 and will run through December 21, opening night, Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 37 Arts (450 W. 37th Street).  Tickets are $60.25-$70.25 (previews $26.25-$31.25) and can be purchased www.Ticketmaster.com or by calling (212) 307-7171.

A super-charged dance piece featuring the 2007 B-boy World Champions EXTREME CREW, Ballerina Who Loves B-boy follows a snobbish ballerina practicing safely inside her studio until she is interrupted by a loud band of street dancers who have set up their "studio" right outside. The two worlds collide creating a high-energy, heart pounding, gravity- defying display of technical skill that will leave the audience in awe. The British paper The List called Ballerina Who Loves B-boy a "Frenzied, free styling displays of technical skill. A heightened hyper-real experience, from the tribal, Technicolor street fashions and joyous soundtrack to the beat-perfect moves." Ballerina Who Loves B-boy continues to performs in Korea and has toured Asia for the past three years. A highlight of the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Ballerina Who Loves B-boy garnered 5 star-ratings from both the Scotsman and The List.

37 Arts is located 450 W. 37th Street. For more infromation please visit www.BallerinaWhoLovesBboy.com
