Dancer and choreographer Bouzies Bouteldja takes the notion Reversible up religion, sexuality and power.
Bouteldja background from Algeria and France and works with themes that taboos and repression, and challenge old traditions. In this personal dance performance he is alone on stage.
Based on their experience with sexual violence he will show that the abuse is not the end. Having broken with religion was important for Bouteldja to talk about their experiences, and above all the love that saved him. Through dance was liberation possible, it is dance that has built him up so that he today can talk about self-respect and respect for others.
Bouteldja heads the Company Dans6T, a company with strong hip hop traditions domiciled in Tarbes, in the French Pyrenees,.
