The Children's chorus sings Astrid Lindgren at Den Norske Opera & Ballett

The 70 vocalists of the Norwegian National Opera Children’s Chorus have a great musical appetite. Here, Emil of Lonneberg, Pippi Longstocking, Karlsson-on-the-Roof and several other well-known personalities from Astrid Lindgren’s treasured tales will be brought to life through songs for every generation. All the roles are played by children, and animated through simple costumes, direction and choreography.

The new orchestral arrangements have been adapted for the soloists of the Norwegian National Opera Children’s Chorus, and will be played by the young orchestral musicians from the Musikk på Majorstuen school / Barratt Due Institute of Music.
