Simon at Den Norske Opera & Ballett

17-year-old Simon lives an isolated life in his room, his only contact with the outside world coming through his PC. When he «meets» Mia one evening via camcorder glasses, it marks the start of something new for them both. Mia highlights secrets in Simon's life that he himself is barely aware of, and decides to help him escape his isolation.

Commissioned by Femte Rad Produksjoner, German composer Gerhard Stäbler and Norwegian dramatist Christopher Grøndahl have created a playful, serious, modern and entertaining opera for young people.
