Daniel discovers suddenly that hero from the computer game Robin Hood is in his room. The game that his father has made, becomes magical when you press any of the keys. Characters in the game are real, while Daniel and his friends are drawn into Robin Hood's adventures in the world. Here we move in and out of a virtual world most children recognize themselves in.
Robin Hood is something as rare as a contemporary opera written for children, and on the main stage! The German composer Frank Schwemmer has made an actual children's opera, full of speed and excitement. The show was first produced at the Komische Oper in Berlin, where it was received with cheers, and several seasons been resumed on the repertoire. This is one of the National Opera's highlight for the kids this season and in the roles we meet children from the children's choir and singers from the National Opera.
Ages: Suitable for children from 6 years old, but is equally fun for adults.
