Get ready for something completely new! Carte Blanche, the Norwegian national company of contemporary dance, presents the cream of the choreographic undergrowth. Yaniv Cohen, Núria Guiu Sagarra and Ole Martin Enckell have all excelled choreograpic, and has a strong relationship with Carte Blanche. The title alludes to the youthful courage, upheaval and a new generation of artists, as well as the farm where the Woodstock Festival took place. The latter is also an important element in one of the pieces.
Yaniv Cohen explores a seemingly mundane world and elaborates on the difference between dreams and reality. Núria Guiu Sagarra moves in an Alice in Wonderland-inspired hyperrealitet "where the copy of the reality is worth more than the real reality", she says. Ole Martin Enckell explores young, fearless naivete and enforced relationships, and throws his style ensure oblique glance at the basic emotions and big cliches. All three have successfully performed several pieces by Carte Blanches annual show-caseprosjekt Try In the House. See creativity sprout on Yasgur's Farm!
