Afternoon Concert: Debussy, Hindemith and Stravinsky at Den Norske Opera & Ballett

In this series of chamber music concerts, the audience will experience the orchestra in a different format. The orchestra will perform in a smaller group, enabling the audience to get closer to the musicians. The afternoon concerts are the Norwegian National Opera Orchestra's own concerts, where the musicians perform their personal musical favourites.

The season’s last afternoon concert is inspired by the production Ekstase!, with operas by Hindemith and Zemlinsky in the Main House. Here, we move from Debussy’s heartfelt and beautiful trio sonata via Hindemith’s burlesque quartet to Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale.
