Astrid Giske replaces Mira Ormala as Christine in 'The Phantom of the Opera

Mira Ormala has unfortunately taken ill and is unable to continue on in the role of Christine Daaé in the new smash hit production of "The Phantom of the Opera" at Folketeatret in Oslo.

Understudy Astrid Giske have been playing the role and will, as of October 22nd, take over the role on a permanent basis.

Astrid Giske is a newly graduate from the the College of Musical Theatre. She is 23 years old and will now play the dream role of so many musical theatre artists. Sources has told that her performance is fantastic.
