In this large-scale spectacle event by ROGE Theatre Reinvented, you will step into the world of Rosie the Riveter with the Military Aviation Museum's immersive performance adventure. It’s January 1942, and the US is in the throes of World War II. Eddie’s Auto Parts Factory is struggling due to the freeze on the manufacturing of car parts. His secretary, Rosie, wonders if the factory can secure a government contract and be converted to make airplane parts instead. At a time when the radio and the mail were the main sources of information, and ration books were in every household, Rosie shed tradition, rolled up her sleeves and impacted history. She became the iconic image that inspired many women workers to join the cause. Virginia playwright Trey Clarkson’s often-produced script comes to life through this new adaptation for immersive performance with ROGE: Theater Reinvented at the Military Aviation Museum.

This production is funded in part by the citizens of Virginia Beach through a grant from the City of Virginia Beach Arts and Humanities Commission.

Ticket Information:

Basic Ticket ($50): Entry to the Immersive Experience. Show starts at 7:30pm sharp!

Rosie's Guest (VIP Ticket) ($75): Includes reserved table seating at the USO Dance, plus a drink from the canteen. (Arrive early and enjoy your drink before the show!)

Home Front Hero (VIP Ticket + Donation) ($100): Includes reserved table seating, a drink, and the purchase of a War Bond! Do your part for the boys overseas and enjoy the show! (Arrive early and enjoy your drink before the show!)

War Bond Information: The War Bonds sold at the show, and prepurchased at the Home Front Hero level are donations to the Museum, which is a 501(C)3. These donations are tax deductable, and much like the real war bonds issued during World War II, they are financing the construction of an aircraft! The Museum's SBD Dauntless is actively in restoration, with money raised from the production going to the purchase of rivets, aluminum and other materials for the aircraft.
