A Sherlock Carol is set to unfold at the Virginia Stage Company from December 4 to December 29, 2024. This clever continuation of A Merry Little Christmas Carol sees Sherlock Holmes, haunted by his past, drawn into a mystery involving the grown Tiny Tim and the untimely death of Ebenezer Scrooge. With wit and charm, the Great Detective must apply his skills to unearth the truth behind this Dickensian intrigue. The production promises to captivate audiences with its blend of holiday spirit and light-hearted mystery.

The premier professional theatre in southeastern Virginia, Virginia Stage Company was founded in 1978 by members of the Hampton Roads community who had a deep desire to make live theatre a part of the area’s cultural life. For its home, VSC chose the Wells Theatre in downtown Norfolk, which was fully restored in 1986 and is now a National Historic Landmark.
