Riverside Center for the Performing Arts is excited to present 42nd Street, opening Wednesday, July 19th and running until Sunday, September 10th. With music by Harry Warren and lyrics by Al Dubin, 42nd Street celebrates Broadway, Times Square and the magic of show biz with wit and humor. Winner of two 1981 Tony Awards, two 1981 Drama Desk Awards, and winner of two 2001 Tony Awards and two 2001 Drama Desk Awards. Featuring sensational tap numbers, lavish costumes and one show-stopping tune after another including “We’re in the Money,” “Lullaby of Broadway,” “Forty-Second Street,” and more.
Riverside Center for the Performing Arts Producing Artistic Director, Patrick A’Hearn is pleased to announce a sensational cast led by Broadway’s original Annie, Andrea McArdle as Dorothy Brock alongside Riverside favorite, Christopher Sanders as Julian Marsh. The cast features Rebecca Carroll as Peggy Sawyer, Collins Rush as Billy Lawlor, Kathy Halenda as Maggie Jones, Alan Hoffman as Bert Barry, Stephanie Wood as Anytime Annie and Anthony Williams as Andy Lee. The cast also includes Sarah Andersen (Phyllis Dale), Kevin Cleary (Pat Denning) Delaney Jackson (Lorraine Flemming), Ian Lane (Abner Dillon) and Sally Roehl (Gladys). The ensemble includes Keaton Brandt, Elizabeth C. Butler, Alyssa Dinka, Stephen Eisenwasser, Solomon Iem, Caitlyn Minuto, Brandon Morris, Larry Toyter, and Chris Florio (male swing).
42nd Street’s creative team is led by Director and Co-Choreographer Penny Ayn Maas with choreography by Stephanie Wood. The production will also feature music direction by Carson Eubank, scenic design by Frank Foster, lighting design/production electrician by Weston Corey, costume coordinator/wardrobe supervisor by Erin Welsh, sound design by J. Pat Bragg and sound design by Cheyenne Tenda. The properties master and set dresser is Claire Flores, and the production stage manager is Jennifer Hardin.
The creative team is rounded out Nathan Dunn (Technical Director), and Kyna Chilcot (Production Manager), and James Davis (Company Manager).

Discounted senior and group rates are available, as well as same day RUSH tickets and show only tickets. Evening performances start at 7:30pm with dinner service beginning at 5:30pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Matinee performances start at 1:30pm with dinner service beginning at 11:30am on Wednesday and 3:00pm on Sunday with dinner service beginning at 1:00pm.
