TheatreLAB will present TIME TELLS, their third original devised theatre production next month as the final show in their inaugural season. TIME TELLS is led in concept and direction by Heather Falks and has been developed throughout the 2013-14 season by the ensemble of actors and artists who will be performing the piece. TIME TELLS will be performed at RVA Event Space (0 East 4th Street) for a limited engagement, today, August 23-30.
TheatreLAB has assembled over fifteen artists to collaboratively create TIME TELLS. This innovative new American piece of theatre examines the struggle for an artist to be both prolific and authentic. Audiences are invited to live inside the interactive world of TIME TELLS for a multi-media ensemble production that incorporates storytelling, music, dance, and visual arts for a night at the theatre never to be forgotten.
The seven-person ensemble features Maggie Bavolack, Chelsea Burke, Sarah Burke, Amber Davis, Chandler Hubbard, Michael Todd, and Caleb Wade. The show is directed by Heather Falks with musical direction and original music by Matt Treacy, and assistant direction by Joe Toscano. The production design is by McLean Jesse, with projection and video design by Annie Colpitts, Todd Raviotta, and Bryan Unger, under the stage management of Melissa Rayford.
