Synetic Theater continues its 2015/16 Season by bringing back their rendition of William Shakespeare's classic A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by Paata Tsikurishvili. Press opening will be Thursday, July 16 at 8 p.m.

Synetic remounts their playful adaptation of Shakespeare's timeless comedy with a trademark movement-based visual storytelling. This fantastical, darkly playful game of love, mistaken identity, and the supernatural was honored with nine Helen Hayes Award Nominations when it was first produced in 2010, taking home the award for Outstanding Ensemble and Outstanding Resident Play. Since then, the production has been remounted numerous times to great acclaim and toured Mexico for the 2014 Festival Internacional.

The cast includes Alex Mills as Puck, Irina Tsikurishvili as Titania, Philip Fletcher as Oberon, Irina Kavsadze as Hermia, Peter Pereyra as Demetrius, Emily Whitworth as Helena, Scott Brown as Lysander, Irakli Kavsadze as Nick Bottom/Egus, Dallas Tolentino as Snug/Theseus, Tori Bertocci as Francis Flute, Scott Turner as Tom Snout, Katherine Fratini as Hippolyta, Kathy Gordon as Peaseblossom, Janine Baumgardner as Mustardseed, Lauren Brown as Cobweb, Randy Snight as Moth, Koki Lortkipansze as Robin Starveling, and Vato Tsikurishvili as Quince.
