Venus in Fur is now running at Virginia Stage Company with the official opening night on Friday, March 3. The play runs Tuesday-Sunday through March 19 with tickets in the orchestra as low as $20. Discounts available for military, students, and groups.
The play features just two performers, Charlotte Bydwell as Vanda and Colin Ryan as Thomas, both at Virginia Stage for the first time. Bydwell studied dance at the Juilliard School, received her MFA from The Old Globe/USD Graduate Theatre Program, and has her own solo show, Woman of Leisure and Panic -charlottebydwell.com. Ryan has an MFA from the Academy for Classical Acting. He has been seen on Broadway in Waiting for Godot and No Man's Land, and at more than a dozen regional theatres - colinryan.info.
