Perry Payne Presents Faith Prince In Concert With Billy Stritch At The Piano ImageTony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle winner Faith Prince will return to Lynchburg March 10th, 2018, with a concert at 8:00 PM at Smith Hall on Randolph College's campus. Presented by Perry Payne LLC, the evening features a delightful mix of songs and stories from the Broadway legend's vast musical theatre repertoire.

"I cannot wait to welcome Faith home," said Perry Payne Millner, who will present the Broadway legend and Lynchburg native in her first local outing since 2006. "Having her share her unforgettable experiences and music, with the always delightful Billy Stritch at the piano, promises to be a fabulous evening. Faith Prince casts a spell like no other performer I know, and I am thrilled to bring her magic home for her Lynchburg fans!"

Faith Prince has been dazzling Broadway audiences since her award-winning performance as Ms. Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. As one of Broadway's best loved leading ladies, Faith most recently starred on Broadway in Disaster! The Musical. In a role she was born to play, she starred as the scheming, irascible Miss Hannigan in the Broadway revival of Annie. Other Broadway credits include The Little Mermaid, Bells are Ringing, Jerome Robbins' Broadway, Little Me, The Dead, and Noises Off. She starred in the world premiere of Terrence McNally's Unusual Acts of Devotion and in the national tour of Billy Elliott. She currently recurs on the ABC hit series Modern Family, and recently wrapped a five-season run in Drop Dead Diva. Equally at home on stages large and small, she works with the Boston, Cincinnati, and Philly Pops. Her new album, Total Faith, was recorded at the Royal Room in the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach; her award-winning album, A Leap of Faith, was recorded at Joe's Pub in New York City.

Billy Stritch is one of the premier singer-pianists on the New York and National jazz and cabaret scenes. He began his career in Houston, Texas, where he formed the vocal trio Montgomery, Plant and Stritch. A chance meeting in 1991 led to a 25-year collaboration with Liza Minnelli as her vocal arranger and music director; Billy recently toured with the legendary Tony Bennett as his pianist and music director. He originated the role of Oscar in the Broadway revival of 42nd Street and is music director of Jim Caruso's Cast Party, Mondays at Birdland Jazz Club in Manhattan. He has recorded extensively, was named "Musical Director of the Year" by Broadway World in 2012 and 2014 and received BMI's Song of the Year Award - and a Grammy nomination - for his composition Does He Love You, recorded by Reba McIntire.
