Winter Break Trips at OFTC:
Tuesday Dec. 27- Laser Tag at Shadowland. Activity No. 8107.211. Tickets are $35 and $30 for district residents.
Wednesday Dec. 28- Climbing at Sportrock. Activity No. 8108.211. Tickets are $40 and $35 for district residents.
Thursday Dec. 29- Ice Skating. Activity No. 8109.211 Tickets are $30 and $25 for district residents.

The Airborne Comedians on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 and $15 for district residents. Dan Foley and Joel Harris are The Airborne Comedians. An act that began 20 years ago as a snowball juggling contest in a laundromat, has now escalated to riding six- and seven-foot high unicycles and juggling flaming lawn chairs. For ages 10+. Adding 21st Century flash to vaudeville tradition, this duo juggles a cornucopia of objects: baseball bats, lawn chairs, children and random objects from the audience.
Young Soloists Recital on January 8 at 3 p.m. Admission is free. Tickets are not required. The premier showcase for great chamber music in Northern Virginia. The Concerts at the Alden series is sponsored by the Music Friends of the Fairfax County Public Library and the Alden Theatre.
This concert features: Wiley Skaret, 9, a homeschooled fourth-grader who studies piano with Marjorie Lee; Elena Anne Olshin, 16, a freshman at The Learning Community International who studies flute with Marcia Kamper; John Kirchenbauer, 15, a sophomore at Washington-Lee High School who studies violin with Ronda Cole; and Sarah Barham, 17, a homeschooled senior who studies piano with Rosita Kerr Mang.

Christmas Holiday Closings
The McLean Community Center and the Old Firehouse Teen Center will be closed on Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26, for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (observed).
MCC will be open on Saturday, Dec. 24, but will close at 5 p.m.
