Have you been caught under the mistletoe yet? This time of year is full of fun traditions, whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, all or none of the above. Whatever it is you do this time of year, consider making MCC a part of it. We offer everything from music to drama to day trips to art shows, on top of our ongoing list of children's and adult's classes. Don't miss out!

Registration is now open for McLean district residents! All others may begin registering on Monday, Dec. 13. Here's how:

San Francisco Meets Gypsy Jazz
Hot Club of San Francisco
presents Cool Yule
Saturday, Dec. 11
8 p.m.

Back by popular demand, Hot Club of San Francisco will bring to life your favorite winter tunes with their Gypsy jazz stylings! The dance floor will be open and the audience is invited to a free wine and cheese reception after the performance, sponsored by Friends of the MCC. Listen now!

Music for the Season
Deck the Halls!

3 p.m.

The McLean Symphony presents a spectacular holiday concert featuring the Tchaikowsky Nutcracker Sweets, Bavel's Hanukkah Rhapsody, seasonal selections for chorus and orchestra, and the symphony's annual sing-along. Come enjoy the music of the Symphony Festival Chorus and Carlos Alberto Ibay on piano.

Admission: $25 adults, $20 seniors, $15 students, free children 12 and younger

Have Fun with the Holidays
The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon

Join the Alden Theatre for a good laugh this holiday season. In this Alden production, the stories of The Brothers Grimm meet the comedy style of Monty Python for an evening of ridiculous, madcap fun. Rated PG-13, for immature audiences only.

A Classic Tale of a Tailor
Theatre IV presents The Tailor of Gloucester

This holiday classic by Beatrix Potter is the story of a poor tailor who works his fingers to the bone to finish a coat for the mayor's Christmas wedding, only to run out of thread. In a miraculous turn of events, all the animals come together to help the tailor. But can they give him a happy ending? Come find out! For ages 4+.

Now for ages 4-9!

Parents and students rejoice! This winter break can be the best ever... Just sign up for one, two or three days of camp and this vacation will be a time full of arts and crafts, games, music, special events and more.

Holiday Closing Notice
Please note that the McLean Community Center will be closed Thursday, Dec. 23, through Sunday, Dec. 26, in observance of the Christmas holidays. The Center will reopen at 9 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 27.

The Center also will be closed on Friday, Dec. 31, and Saturday, Jan. 1, in observance of New Year's. The Center will reopend at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2.
