The Little Theatre of Norfolk will be presenting 12 Angry Men, adapted by Sherman Sergel and based on the Emmy award-winning television movie by Reginald Rose. With direction by Scott Rollins, performances will take place March 5th-21st, Thursdays-Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 2:30PM.
The plot follows that of the movie - once the defense and the prosecution have rested, a jury must decide if a young man is guilty or innocent of murdering his father. What begins as an open and shut case soon becomes a drama of the jurors' prejudices and preconceptions about the trial, the accused, and each other.
The Little Theatre of Norfolk is a completely volunteer run organization in its 82nd season, making it one of the longest continually running community theatres in the nation. It has begun educational programs with special opening night discounts for full time students as well as educational study guides for both children and adults to further their theatre going experience.
