The Keegan Theatre presents Aaron Sorkin's breakthrough stage production A Few Good Men, opening today, August 10, 2013.

First produced on Broadway in 1989 and inspiring an Academy Award-nominated film of the same name, Aaron Sorkin's A Few Good Men tells the story of military lawyers at a court-martial who uncover a high-level conspiracy in the course of defending their clients, two United States Marines accused of murder. Based on events that took place at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in July 1986, A Few Good Men is a riveting courtroom drama that investigates both the nature of our military mentality and the Marine code of honor. A hit on the Broadway stage, A Few Good Men is as timely today as the day it was written!

Two time Helen Hayes Award Nominee Jeremy Skidmore directs a cast of 16 including Kevin Adams, William Aitken, Maboud Ebrahimzadeh, Jonathon Feuer, James Finley, Peter Finnegan, Patrick Flannery, Kevin Hasser, Michael Innocenti, Brianna Letourneau, Nathaniel Mendez, Jon Odom, Mark A. Rhea, Bradley Foster Smith, Adi Stein, and Jon Townson.

"I am thrilled to be back with Keegan working on such an exciting and challenging project. It is perfect for Keegan audiences in both its style, as well as the opportunities the play offers to such a diverse group of actors," says Jeremy Skidmore. "My hope is not only will audiences walk away thinking about the play itself, but that they will also leave with a greater understanding of the complexity that is loyalty and honor inside the armed forces. It is a fascinating subject when one starts wondering whether the same civilian laws and rules should actually apply when you are working behind a fence line."

A Few Good Men runs through September 7, 2013. The official opening is Tuesday, August 13 at 8:00pm. The Keegan Theatre is in its 16th season. On June 22, 2013, Keegan purchased the Church Street Theater, located at 1742 Church St NW in Washington, DC. The theater venue is now officially The Andrew Keegan Theatre.

Tickets are $35 for eneral admission, $30 for students and seniors. Group rates available. To order, call 703-892-0202 or visit boxoffice@keegantheatre.com.
