Four Country Players Presents MAFIA ON PROZAC 11/6-14

Four County Players is excited to present Mafia on Prozac, a dark comedy by Edward Allan Baker. On a pier in Rhode Island, two mob hit men discuss the fate of a man they have been ordered to kill, who is currently tied up in a burlap sack. Hilarity ensues as they discuss life, death, and everything in between.

The play stars Francis Deane, known for his work in area productions such as 1776, Guys and Dolls, and Oliver!, as well as Allen Van Houzen, a local actor and director who has been seen in or directed many area shows such as Twelfth Night, As You Like It, Guys and Dolls, and Looking Glass Alley. This also marks the area acting debut of Eric Hart, who has countless theatrical credits, including Jekyll & Hyde (in the title role), and The Scarlet Pimpernel.

Joncey Boggs is in the director's chair again after last season's stellar production of Oliver!.
This daring production is presented in the Cellar, the new 50-seat black box theater at Four County Players. While Impulse Project's production of Shakespeare's Hamlet was the first show staged in the Cellar, Mafia is the first show produced by 4CP to be in the new space.

Mafia on Prozac runs November 6, 7, 13, and 14 at 8PM in the Cellar. Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can, and are only available AT THE DOOR on a first-come, first-served basis. All seats are general admission. The theater opens at 7:30PM on performance nights, and audience members are encouraged to arrive as early as possible to make sure they have seats. This show contains explicit language and adult subject matter, and is for mature audiences only. No children will be admitted. A CHRISTMAS STORY
