Firehouse Theatre is pleased to announce an extension of six additional performances of its powerful and theatrically potent production of Eugene O'Neill's rarely produced masterpiece of malice, madness, and murder.
O'Neill's 1924 masterpiece is rooted in the tragic Greek myth Phaedra, transplanted to a remote New England farm. When Ephraim Cabot comes home with a new, young wife his three sons plot to maintain their hold on him and their inheritance, leading to malice, madness, and murder. The production was originally scheduled for a limited run of nine performances ending on Sunday, November 5. The extension schedule of six additional performances includes Friday November 10 at 7:30pm, Saturday November 11 at 7:30pm, Sunday November 12 at 4pm, Thursday November 16 at 7:30pm, Friday November 17 at 7:30pm, and the final performance on Saturday November 18 at 7:30pm.
