Lovingly ripped off from the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Monty Python's Spamalot has a book by Eric Idle and music by John Du Prez. It tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, and will have you laughing from start to Finnish. Spamalot is the winner of three Tony Award, including Best Musical.
The cast will be led by the locally beloved Bill Bodine as King Arthur and award-winning, New York City actress Amy Jo Jackson (EPBB's Dani Girl; CLUE at Feinstein's/54 Below) as the Lady of the Lake. Joining this dynamic duo are favorites James Vesey-Potter as Sir Galahad, Hubbard Farr as Sir Lancelot, Jeff Ronan as Sir Robin, Bryan Paul Kopsitz as Sir Bedevere, Jared M. Anderson as Patsy, and Ken Arpino (Hairspray, Legally Blonde, Mamma Mia) as the Historian/Prince Herbert. The company will also feature Jonathan Grunert, Beverly Owens, Olivia Wray, Marianne Virnelson, Joshua Boyce, and Elizabeth Potter.
Directed by Wolfbane's award-winning Artistic Director Dustin Williams, this production is not to be missed, with musical direction by DaShay Glover, costume design by Christine Yepsen, choreography by Elizabeth Potter and stage managed by Em Terlizzi.
