The WannaBeatles, one of the top Beatles Tribute Bands in the country will be appearing one night only on Friday, Aug. 23 at 8:00 PM at the Historic North Theatre, 629 North Main St. in Danville, VA. Playing to standing ovations, The WannaBeatles are creating a bit of Beatlemania of their own. The WannaBeatles consists of award winning and talented music producers, arrangers, studio players, and singers who have "Come Together" to play the music they grew up with. Ever since their first "all Beatles" gig together, it was love at the first note! Since then, the WannaBeatles have developed a following of regulars who look forwardto the band's own special version of the "British Invasion". These are the songs we all grew up listening to. Kids today have rediscovered the music of the Beatles which proves that great music will stand the test of time.

On February 12th, 2012, the WannaBeatles went to Los Angeles, California to take part in the 54th Grammy awards. Nathan Burbank, Bryan Cumming, Dennis Scott and David Toledo (a.k.a. The WannaBeatles) were nominated as producers in the Spoken Word category for Fab Fan Memories - The Beatles Bond. The album was released by the WannaBeatles' record label WannaBeats Records.

This will be part of the Historic North Theatre's 66th Anniversary Weekend. The theatre opened on Aug. 25, 1947. Last year on Aug. 25, after being closed for some time, it was reopened by new owner and illusionist Wayne Alan. To commemorate his one year of being open and the Mr. Alan will present his award-winning sleight of hand close-up magic in the Balcony Mini-Theatre at 3:00 PM. Tickets are $15.00, 13.00 & 10.00.
