Student rush tickets are $15 and available at the box office one hour before the performance.
The Personal(s) is the third incarnation of a story that is often compared to the classic Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? After surviving a tragedy, estranged husband and wife Don and Janna go on a series of "blind dates" to try to save their marriage.
"My attraction to the source material is that it's a tragedy about comedy," said adaptor and Producing Artistic Director Brian Sutow. "This is a heartbreaking and honest story to me because there isn't a clear-cut force of antagonism, but instead two hilarious and wonderful people whose lives have been undone by the best parts of themselves."
"I'm thrilled to be directing this adaptation of The Personal(s) as my No Rules Theatre Company Debut," said Director Josh Hecht. "I think Brian has crafted this beautiful story in a way that audiences will find thought-provoking and refreshing."
The Personal(s) by Brian Sutow is directed by Josh Hecht and stars Michael Kramer, two time Helen Hayes award-winner Anne Kanengeiser and Spencer Trinwith. The production features set design by Dan Conway, lighting design by Cory Ryan Frank, costume design by Chelsey Schuller and sound design by Sam Kusnetz.
