5th Wall Theatre is thrilled to announce the newest addition to their team. Elizabeth Parks will be joining 5th Wall as its new Public Relations and Marketing Director. Elizabeth comes to 5th Wall by way of Hampden-Sydney College where she most recently worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre.

Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience to 5th Wall. She has worked in Public Relations, Marketing, Graphic Design and Arts Administration for theatres, colleges, and arts organizations in Colorado and Texas. Most notably she worked as the Assistant Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator as well as the Assistant Conference Coordinator for the Playwrights' Showcase of the Western Region between 2007 and 2011 in Denver, Colorado.

In addition, Elizabeth brings twelve years of theatre education experience and over twenty years of theatre experience as an actor, director, producer, dancer, choreographer, dramaturg, and occasional designer and seamstress. Having performed, studied, and trained all over the world, Elizabeth noted that "I am excited to be working for a company that explores unchartered territory in theatre. I love that 5th Wall is a theatre that challenges current and/or "standard" perspectives and practices in theatre. They are making great work, and I am proud to be a spokesperson for their innovation." When asked about the company's newest addition, 5th Wall Artistic Director Carol Piersol stated: "We are thrilled to have Elizabeth Parks join the 5th Wall team. Although she is new to us, she has many ties to the Richmond theatre community and will be a great asset to us all."

Ms. Parks will begin her tenure at 5th Wall with the upcoming production of TALK RADIO by Eric Bogosian, directed by Morrie Piersol, starring Richmond theatre legend Scott Wichmann. The play opens January 10th. For further details, stay tuned...
