4CP Announces Upcoming Events Including IMPROV, Summer Auditions, and SYLVIA

Four County Players in Barboursville (5256 Governors Barbour Street) will kick off their Comedy in the Cellar Series with Bent Theatre Company and Wu Prov Academy joining them for an evening of Improv on Friday, April 30 at 8pm.  Four County Players 2010-2011 Summer Musical Season begins with The Price Street Players, Ltd. Version of ALICE IN WONDERLAND July 23 through August 15.  Auditions will be held Sunday, April 25 at 4pm and Monday, April 26 at 7 pm.  And tickets are on sale for the comedy Sylvia, May 7-22 at www.fourcp.org.

Comedy in the Cellar will kick off Friday, April 30 at 8 PM with the Bent Theatre Company and Wu Prov Academy joining Four County Players for an evening of Improv. Seats are $10.00 and are available by calling the box office at 540-832-5355, or at the door the night of the show.

Four County Players is holding audition for their summer musical: The Prince Street Players, Ltd. Version of ALICE IN WONDERLAND Director Noal Bastian, Musical Director Tom Dixon and Choreographer Kathy Beall are looking for a diverse cast of actors, singers, and dancers ages 8 and up. Those auditioning need to be prepared with a verse and chorus of a musical theater standard and bring your own sheet music.  

Auditions will be held in the Cellar (lower level of Four County Players) on:
Sunday, April 25 at 4:00PM
Monday, April 26 at 7:00PM
Callbacks as necessary will be on Tuesday, April 27 at 7PM in the Cellar.
Performances will be:
July 23, 24, 30, 31, August 6, 7, 13, 14 at 8PM
July 25, August 1, 8, 15 at 2:30PM
Thursday, August 5 at 1PM - adults will need to take this day off from work

Tickets for the spring comedy, SYLVIA, May 7 - 22 are on sale now.  Visit www.fourcp.org for exact show times. They are offering a $5 Friday promotion available by phone or email. Please note that show content has been rated PG-13 for language by the director.
