AUDITION NOTICE:
The Rose To Host Auditions For Youth Roles
for the Young Playwrights Festival #20,
for 2014 Production of A Wrinkle in Time, March 16 and 19, 2015 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
The Rose Theater will host an audition for youth roles in its 2014 Festival on March 16 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, and March 19 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm (Auditioners only need to attend one session). Actors must be 13 to 18 years of have and must not have completed high school. Actors of all types are welcome to audition and must come to The Rose Theater, 2001 Farnam Street on ONE of the dates mentioned above. Rose Minority actors are wanted for lead roles. Actors do need not to prepare anything, but be ready to do cold reads and play improv games.
Young Playwrights is directed by Jackie Kappes and Amy Bahr, with performances being held on April 30, May 2, and May 3. Contact Jackie at jackiek@rosetheater.org for more information
The Young Playwrights Festival showcases the work of some of the best teenage writers in the Omaha area. Written entirely by teens, the works are filled with comedy, tragedy, hopes, fears, romance, and all-out fun.
