“Where the Door Leads” follows the story of a young non-binary person named Jesse, who wakes one day to find themself stuck in the mysterious dreamscape. In order to leave, they must confront faces from their past, perhaps even themself.
CW: Mentions of death and suicide are prevalent throughout this production. If this is not something that you as a person are comfortable working around, I thank you for your consideration but encourage you to take care of yourself and not audition for this production.

Rehearsal Dates:
Because of the distance between auditions and performance, rehearsals for the show will be sent out once all selected parties have been notified. Rehearsal days and times will be determined based on the collective availability of the team. I will do my best to create a schedule that will work for everyone involved, but if discrepancies arise, we will discuss how to navigate this through the use of online rehearsals, split rehearsals, rescheduling and understudies. Based upon availability, there will be approximately 6-10 rehearsals before tech. Rehearsal schedules will be made and finished during December 2023 and January 2024.

Actors must be based in NYC, over the age of 18, and available for rehearsals (pending) during February, March and April of 2024. As stated before, rehearsals will be based on the collective availability of the production team.
The roles of Jesse and Dream Jesse are written to be Nonbinary. To honor this, actors who identify as nonbinary, gender queer, or gender non-conforming will be prioritized in the audition process.
Actors in the Roles of Jesse and Dream Jesse will not be cast based on looks or comparability, these factors will not be taken into consideration.
