Widely regarded as one of the most important and influential figures of 20th-century popular music, Burt Bacharach has enjoyed major hits in all genres of music, including top 40, rhythm and blues, country, film scores and soundtracks. A six-time Grammy Award winner and three-time Oscar winner, Bacharach wrote more than 70 top 40 hits over his seven-decade career. He treasured his collaborations with fellow artists including Dionne Warwick, Dusty Springfield, Tom Jones, The Carpenters, Aretha Franklin, Luther Vandross and Neil Diamond. Some of his timeless gems include Raindrops keep falling on my Head, I Say A Little Prayer, “(They Long to Be) Close to you,” “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again,” Walk On By” and That's What Friends Are For. The Williamson County Performing Arts Center pays tribute to this legendary composer with a 90 minute original musical revue!

Please prepare:
Two contrasting Burt Bacharach songs-16 bars each or one Burt Bacharach song- 32 bars.
Bring sheet music in correct key. Please do not plan to sing A cappella or with a track.
Local video submissions will also be accepted through June 15th, 2023

Must be 18 or older to audition. Individuals of all ethnicities are encouraged to audition. Rehearsals begin September 18th (nights and weekends required). Performances: Friday, November 3rd at 2:00pm & 7:00pm, Saturday, November 4th at 7:00pm and Sunday, November 5th at 2:00pm.
Cast members will be paid a $750 honorarium
