OPERA PHILADELPHIA is looking for experienced contemporary dancers who can sing for roles its 2017/18 season production of We Shall Not Be Moved, directed by Bill T. Jones.
Must have strong urban dance experience (hip-hop, breakdance, steppin’, vogue-ing, Flexn…). Contemporary modern dance training a plus. Should be creative and work well in a group. Operatic training not required, but we are looking for dancers who can also sing (vernacular, R&B, pop or legit Broadway experience). All ethnicities are welcome. Ages 16 to 30. Looking to cast 2 males and one female.
