REHEARSALS
Begin end of January at Holiday Inn Express and Suites 10771 International Dr Orlando, Fl
and run Mon - Thurs evenings 7-10 PM! We will work around reasonable conflicts and exact schedule will depend on the role. Performers will not be called to every rehearsal.

Praised for reinvigorating the very notion of what a musical could be, Urinetown catapults the comedic romp into the new millennium with its outrageous perspective, wickedly modern wit and sustained ability to produce gales of unbridled laughter.
NOTE we are looking for actors with great comedic timing who are not afraid to be bold, be silly and have fun! We HIGHLY encourage performers of all ethnicities, genders and body types to audition for every role!
Officer Lockstock - CAST
Little Sally - A precocious and irreverent street urchin. She serves as a quasi-narrator who often questions Lockstock and the play's logic. Mezzo with great comedic timing who moves well. Female - identifying actor ages 10-65+
Bobby Strong - The dashing, rebellious everyman who works for Miss Pennywise at the poorest, filthiest town urinal. He becomes an unsuspecting protagonist and romantic hero when he starts a revolution and falls in love with Hope Cladwell.
Strong tenor with great comedic timing who moves well. Male-identifying actor ages 18-35.
Hope Cladwell - Cladwell's daughter, torn between her father and her new love for Bobby. She begins as an innocent, naive angel but becomes vengeful and determined after being exposed to her father's evil. Soprano with belt with great comedic timing who moves well. Female - identifying actor ages 16-35.
Caldwell B. Cladwell- The evil president and owner of the Urine Good Company. He is a miserly money-grubber who gleefully exploits the poor. Baritone with great comedic timing. Male-identifying actor ages 35 -65+
Penelope Pennywise - CAST
Officer Barrel - Lockstock's patrol partner. A thuggish and aggressive policeman. Baritenor with great comedic timing who moves well. Male-identifying actor ages 20-65+.
Hot Blades Harry - One of the Poor, he is a psychopathic and can become a violent loose cannon. Baritenor with great comedic timing who moves very well. Male-identifying actor ages 16-45.
Little Becky Two-shoes - One of the Poor. She is foul-mouthed, impulsive, and accusatory. Mezzo with great comedic timing who moves well. Female identitfying actor ages 16-45
Josephine ma Strong- Bobby's mother and Joseph's wife. A strong-willed woman with a bite, able to withstand the hard hand life has dealt her. Soprano with great comedic timing who moves well. Female-identifying actor ages 35-65+
Mr. Mcqueen - Cladwell’s sycophantic lackey. A servile assistant. Baritone with great comedic timing who moves well. Male-identifying actor ages 18-65+.
Senator Fipp - A greedy politician in Cladwell's pocket. A bumbling coward. Baritone with great comedic timing who moves well.
Male-identifying actor ages 30-65+.
Joseph old Man Strong - Bobby's rebellious father. His refusal to pay the fee sends him to Urinetown, ultimately launching the revolution. May double as another role or in the ensemble. Actor with great comedic timing who can move well.
Male-identifying actor ages 50-65+
Tiny Tom - One of the Poor, he is an idiotic man-child. Baritone or Tenor with great comedic timing who can move well. Male -identifying actor ages 12-65+
Soupy Sue - One of the Poor, she is excitable and easily panicked.
Mezzo with great comedic timing who moves well. Female-identifying actor ages 10-65+
Billy Boy Blue - One of the poor. Baritone or Tenor with strong comedic timing who moves well. Male-identifying actor ages 10-65+
Robby the Stockfish - A tough poor man. Baritone or Tenor with strong comedic timing who moves well. Male-identifying actor ages 16-65+
Dr. Billeaux - Head of Research and Development at UGC. Good singer with great comedic timing who moves well. May double with another role or in the ensemble. Male-identifying actor ages 25-65+
Mrs Millenium - A femme fatale UGC Executive. Mezzo with great comedic timing who moves well. May double as another role or in the ensemble. Female-identifying actor ages 18-50
Cladwell’s Secretary - Soprano with great comedic timing who moves well. May double as another role and/or in the ensemble. Female-identifying actor ages 15-65+
Ensemble - Strong actors and singers who move well to play members of the Poor, UGC Executives, Cops and other featured roles. All Genders ages 10-65+.
* LRT is a non paying community theater and does not provide a travel stipend. There will be a tip jar at performances from which the proceeds will be split amongst the cast *
** To audition for Urinetown actors must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and willing to provide proof of vaccination. Having the booster (if elligble) is HIGLY recommended **
