AUDITIONS: Sunday, February 11th & Monday, February 12th at 6:30pm
CALLBACKS: Tuesday, February 13th at 6:30pm
PERFORMANCES: May 18 - June 3, 2018
Please be signed in no later than 6:45 on audition nights and be prepared to list any rehearsal conflicts.
Auditions will consist of vocal auditions only. Readings will take place at callbacks. We are looking to cast a varied and diverse group of 40, ages 5 and up. Many will be double/triple cast into all class groups.
Please prepare (roughly) 24-32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Songs from the show are acceptable, as well as other Maury Yeston musicals, and musicals of an epic and dramatic nature. Sheet music is required, and an accompanist will be provided. We will not be hearing any auditions without music.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
If auditioning for one of the following roles, please be prepared to sing the listed song.
Barrett: The last half of Barrett's Song
Andrews: In Every Age
Murdoch: To Be a Captain
Bride: The Night was Alive
REHEARSALS:
Rehearsals will begin on March 26th and will be on Sundays from 3-7pm and Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7-9:30pm.
You must be available for All performances and should not miss more than 6 rehearsals. You must attend all tech-week rehearsals.
There will be an additional show added on the Thursday between the 1st and 2nd weekend (5/24/18).
