The Ridgefield Theater Barn will hold open auditions for their holiday show, Super Nifty Holiday Bash, at 37 Halpin Lane, Ridgefield, CT on Wednesday, September 15 and Thursday, September 16 at 7pm. The show, written by Duane Lanham, directed by Deb Failla, with Music Direction by Lisa Riggs Hobbs, will be presented Friday and Saturday evenings from November 27 through December 18 at, 8pm, with Sunday matinees November 28, December 5 and 12 at 2pm. Rehearsals will begin the last week of September. Please note that there will be rehearsals (tech week) the week of Thanksgiving with performances that weekend, though Thanksgiving day itself will be off.
The RTB Lounge Super Nifty Holiday Bash is a campy two-act musical revue featuring traditional and non-traditional songs that cast a side-eye on the holidays. The Ridgefield Theater Barn is committed to promoting equity in community theater. In seeking to build a diverse cast, they encourage actors of all races, ethnicity, and gender identities to audition. All roles are open; proof of vaccination is required.
