Casting upcoming staged reading of 'The Porker Sisters,' a musical by Mark York. The reading will take place on Monday, October 14th, 2024 in midtown Manhattan, with rehearsals taking place from 10/10 - 10/14. Additional music rehearsals will be held in late September with the actors playing Boareen, Porcine, and Pigeen. Pays total stipend of $200 for all rehearsals and closed-door industry reading.

The Porker Sisters tells the story of the Three Little Pigs: Boareen, Porcine and Pigeen Hogg. B.B. Wolf, of the Huff & Puff Talent Agency, transforms them into a singing sensation, bringing them on tour from Oinklahoma City to Hogg Kong.

Alto. The tough, all business pig. Street smart. Has the gentility of a barracuda. Too rough for most men. Sings in tight 3-part harmony with her sisters, similar to the style of The Andrew Sisters.
PORCINE HOGG (Female, 20-30)
Mezzo. The sex pig. All men gravitate to her. She just wants to be adored. A Beauty and the center of attention. Sings in tight 3-part harmony with her sisters, similar to the style of The Andrew Sisters.
PIGEEN HOGG (Female, 20-30)
Soprano with solid mix. The naive pig. Tries to see good in everything. The runt. (The dreamer). Sings in tight 3-part harmony with her sisters, similar to the style of The Andrew Sisters.
B.B. WOLF (Male, 30-45)
Baritone. Sleazy agent of “Huff & Puff Talent Agency”. Will do anything to get what he wants. Always plotting something up his sleeve. Must be a good/smooth mover.
JERRY VERMIN (Male, 20-30)
Tenor. An innocent, shy little weasel. The Porker Sisters’ songwriter. Devoted to writing. Hard worker. Very loyal. Nerd with a Huge heart.
